  • Emblem US0000

This emblem was the beginning of my Final Edition collection. I never thought I'd own such a rare piece of Mitsubishi history... I spent a long time considering where to place it in the Lancer, but ultimately decided on the perfect spot to honor the pre-edition model. Even though my center console isn't a perfect fit, it's still a nice place. You can find out more in the article "My thoughts on the pre-production model US0000"

  • Final Edition - Miscellaneous

There are many items and parts related to the Final Edition that I haven't used, but which are still worth mentioning: Final Edition Speedometer ETACS A655 Final Edition Steering Wheel Front door panels handbrake lever Center console armrest two additional decorative license plates A limited edition 1/18 scale Samurai model car Three other emblems: US995, US1240 and US1337 - Unique number – “Leet” number Leetspeak – Wikipedia . Since the other countries where the Final Edition was released did not receive such high numbers, the "Leet" number is the only one of its kind in the world! • PlayStation 2

Pure nostalgia, just sitting in the back and playing a few rounds of Burnout 3 Takedown, what could be better in your own car?....

  • Red brake calipers

A classic! These go perfectly with the two black rims, while also giving a sporty look.

  • Door/Interior lighting

Since the first Mitsubishi meet in 2012, I've installed blue LEDs in the interior and have continued to do so. I've since expanded the system. I've installed blue LEDs in the door handles and door stays, as well as below the doors to make it easier to see where I'm stepping in the dark. My ignition lock is illuminated in blue, and there's also footwell lighting. It is rounded off with the blue/white starry sky that is presented as an extra.

  • Fuse Link System

When I first heard about this system, I knew I had to have it. It was my first attempt at integrating a system that wasn't designed for the 2008 Lancer. I failed to install it in 2019. In 2022, I tried again, and it worked! Since that success, I've had a real breakthrough on how to implement these kinds of things. From that point on, there was no stopping me... Why is this system so good? It complements the MMCS with very good features: Bluetooth audio, phonebook directly in the MMCS, USB/iPod, extended voice commands and the startup animation have been enhanced. Originally, the Lance only had a phonebook accessible via voice command, which is more of a gimmick than practical. A phonebook via the MMCS is really great, and I really missed that feature. Of course, the MMCS has to support it. But since I already had the MMCS-E06, the top-of-the-line version, that wasn't a problem.

  • Evo X steering wheel

I've had many steering wheels before, this is the Gen 4 one I currently have installed. An Evo steering wheel, heavily modified, because the standard steering wheel simply looks colorless.... Gathering all the parts was quite a long story; it took almost a year until everything was the way I wanted it, but it was totally worth it. Flattened bottom, with perforated genuine leather and Alcatara, 12 o'clock line, red multifunction button covers, carbon cover, red stitching. Because I enjoyed the project so much, I immediately put together a second one and embellished it myself.

  • MMCS E-06 Modified

The foundation for many upgrades is the core component, the MMCS E-06. It is the latest in its series and has all the features in its firmware. Instead of the 40GB hard drive (which came with the E-02/30GB model), I installed a 160GB IDE hard drive from Samsung. Everything worked perfectly with this one, and it's really inexpensive. Now the music server has a capacity of 126GB; I currently have 34GB of music stored on it, which is equivalent to about 500 CDs. I also customized various backgrounds and reprogrammed the startup animation to display my logo. I also have an SSD, but since there's hardly any difference in speed, storage space for the music server is more important to me. The MMCS can of course also play DVDs, which is fantastic in combination with the Pajero's 860W amplifier, especially since DTS is now available. I also installed a 24-hour clock and the DVD in Motion upgrade. Since the AUX input isn't affected by this update, I installed the MMCS TV kit from Japan. I love the MMCS, so I would never trade it for an Android device....

  • Paddle Shift

Most people ask me why paddle shift? I have a switch, don't I...? I've always been curious about how the paddle shifters work; it's simply a built-in button, which can be used for other things.... So the first thing I did was program the cruise control, and it works perfectly; accelerating and braking is much easier than using the buttons. It's simply an awesome feeling to accelerate on the motorway using the paddles. Since I'm a bit of a tinkerer, I also added the DTE pedal tuning and the Maxhaust sound system. The DTE setup turned out absolutely perfect.

  • Reversing camera with washer function

Along with the alarm system, I had a reversing camera installed in 2011. I was never a fan of parking sensors, but with a 7" navigation system, the reversing camera is definitely worth it. As part of the MMCS modifications, I also changed the reversing camera's guidelines and added my logo and the Mitsubishi logo. When I saw a video of a newer car where the reversing camera cleaned itself using a nozzle, I decided to build something like that myself. I use the function very often, especially in winter. It's really convenient not having to constantly get out and clean it; just press a button and it's done.

  • Hood lock

Originally, my Lancer only had a regular hood lock without a switch. When the hood is open and you turn on the ignition, a warning message appears on the dashboard: "Close hood". Additionally, the built-in alarm system uses this sensor.

  • center console

Since I was finally planning to install the three switches after years, and I had to open the entire center console for the wiring, I went ahead and replaced the whole center console. As this is just a project overview, I'll just list the things I did: Starting, of course, with the US0000 emblem.
