- Maxhaust sound system
The downside of the diesel engine is its poor sound. This is somewhat compensated for by the Maxhaust sound system. The speakers for the interior are mounted in the trunk. While I was at it, I also soundproofed the trunk. A nice feature if you want to drive more actively.
- KOS keys with panic alarm
I myself registered with the MUT3 4 KOS key with panic alarm. The panic alarm button is actually only available in America and was never offered in Europe. However, it's a feature you might need someday. I also have a Smart Key, which allows you to unlock the car simply by approaching it, and also via the app. But it's more of a nice-to-have feature. I find the original KOS keys more attractive, more practical, and not so bulky.
- LEDs
I've converted quite a few lights to LEDs because they look brighter and more modern, and so far they've held up well. I have replaced the following: Side indicator Cornering lights - simply awesome in the middle of the dark fog lights License plate light Parking lights front and rear Complete interior in blue taillights
- rear apron
In 2013, I opted for the rear spoiler corners because I really liked their shape. Then, in 2018, I switched to this rear bumper because it essentially extends the spoiler corners. This integrates beautifully into the shape of the Lancer.
- FOX sports exhaust
FOX sports exhaust systems are from one of the best-known manufacturers of exhausts for the Lancer. With its large stainless steel tailpipes, it perfectly complements the Lancer's sporty rear end.
- Vehicle insulation
This was a project that spanned several years. I used ABM Gold soundproofing material. It's easy to work with. I soundproofed the doors, the roof, the parcel shelf, the trunk, and under the rear seats. It's definitely quieter in the car, and the Rockford Fosgate sound system benefits from it as well.
- large rear spoiler with spoiler extension
I've had the large rear spoiler since I bought the Lancer. I simply love it; it blends seamlessly into the Lancer's dining room. I covered the recesses myself with carbon fiber film, the third generation of which is now available. A dragon simply had to be included. I've had the OEM spoiler extension from the Evo 10 since 2016.
- Evo X rear spoiler with spoiler extension
The defining feature of every Evo 10 is the large rear spoiler, so it simply had to be in my collection. However, it's not currently mounted. This one is also equipped with the OEM spoiler extension, which makes the rear spoiler even more aggressive.
- Evo X handbrake lever
Originally, I had the aluminum handbrake lever from the accessories catalog since 2011. Now I have the OEM accessory handbrake lever from the EVO 10. I've also added some red details to it.
- Evo X Sport pedals
I've had the sport pedals from the accessories booklet since 2010. They've been replaced regularly ever since. Since 2025 I have installed the sport pedals from the Evo 10; these look even sportier and are the perfect choice in combination with the Evo steering wheel.
- ETACS A322
Since my Lancer is a 2008 model, it originally had the ETACS A319 system installed. With this upgrade, the functionality has increased dramatically. My goal is to get the most features out of the Lancer. Mitsubishi has simply deactivated a lot of functions. To unlock them, you have to use a program in the ETACS to activate them, but the newer the ETACS, the more functions are available. First I switched to the ETACS A321, but since some functions were missing on the MMCS, I then installed the ETACS A322, the power amplifier of this series. I also managed to install an update using the MUT3. That's all that's possible. The following features have been added (not yet activated) since ETACS319: Welcome Light Homecoming Light Comfort car wash Delayed final wipe Automatic door unlocking Start animation on the speedometer display The following features have been unlocked: Deadlock System Alarm system Panic alarm Automatic door locking Horn feedback Keyless entry beeps German as a standard language Windshield washer fluid warning DRL Automatic folding mirrors
- DTE Pedalbox Pro
I'd had the PedalBox installed in my Lancer since 2014, and I was very happy with it. Then in 2023, I saw that DTE had released a new PedalBox with an app. So I ordered it, thinking it would be just like the old one, only with app connectivity... But I was wrong; the guys at DTE really know their stuff. With the old one I always drove in the highest setting, but that's no longer possible with the new one, so I prefer to stay in City mode... The first time I tested the new pedal box, I couldn't stop grinning because it was so awesome. Buying the new pedal box was a great decision, especially in combination with the power upgrade.
